Credits: contribution over bank balance

The hardest question in the whole concept: how do you divide a city fairly without money taking charge again? Our answer is credits. You earn them by contributing to the community, and you spend them on a better place to live.
What matters most is what credits are not. You cannot buy them and you cannot sell them. The moment you can, you have reinvented money and the richest buy the finest spots after all. Keeping them untradeable keeps them a record of effort instead of a currency.
That way, what you do for the city decides how you live, not what you have in the bank.
